Deorro (* 29. August 1991 in Los Angeles ; real name Erick Orrosquiesta ), also known as ! C Ton , is a Mexican - American House - DJ and producer from Los Angeles, in particular with the songs Yee and Five More Hours Celebrated success.

biography

Deorro grew up in West Covina in the Los Angeles area. At the age of 14 he started as a DJ and a few years later he started producing his own tracks. He has over 400,000 followers on the Internet platform Soundcloud , and his tracks Fire and Voodoo have been downloaded over a million times. He was in the Soundcloud charts several times and with his first release Big Fat he was also in the Beatport Electro House Charts in 2011 .

Deorro began his career under the pseudonym Ton! C , which he dropped for legal reasons. After he was able to make a name for himself in the dance scene through a few productions, well-known DJs became aware of him for the first time and the first collaborations were created. In 2012 he took part in a major US-wide DJ tour, after which he also made some major appearances in Australia. On " Spinnin 'Records " he released the single Get Up for the first time, a track on a larger label. The successor Dechorro brought first commercial success. Furthermore, the song shaped his later Dirty Dutch style.

In 2013 he signed another record deal with Hardwell's record label "Revealed Recordings". He also became known in Europe in 2013 with the first "Revealed" track, Yee . First it reached the top 40 in the Netherlands in autumn , then it also entered the charts in Germany and Austria. After two more publications he landed another success with the instrumental piece Five Hours . In contrast to his previous songs, which were rather big-room and dirty-Dutch , this track has a rather slower and less aggressive style. This song also got into numerous European countries. A first vocal version was released on October 3, 2014 with the title Don't Hold Me Back, produced in collaboration with Canadian singer DyCy. At the same time, DyCy and Adrian Delgado also recorded the song Perdoname , which hit the German iTunes charts.

At the end of February 2015, the first rumors of a collaboration with the American singer Chris Brown emerged . The radio station "Power 106" premiered the song Five More Hours on April 27, 2015. The second vocal version of Five Hours was released as a single in May 2015 and reached the upper half of the chart and the top half of the charts in Germany, the Netherlands and France. 10 in Finland and Sweden. The music video also achieved high popularity. This shows Chris Brown and Deorro throwing a party on a bus. The video published by Ultra was viewed several million times within a month.

In the rankings of The DJ List he was at number 15 in the USA at the end of 2013 and in the top 100 worldwide. In the DJ-Mag-Top-100, Deorro went straight to number 19.
