The mixed women's choir is a German silent film in two acts by Ernst Lubitsch from 1916. It is one of the director's lost films .
content
The main character is appointed conductor of a mixed women's choir. It quickly becomes apparent, however, that the singers no longer enjoy singing but rather their new conductor. Only with effort and cunning does the conductor manage to keep women at a distance.
In the end, however, the conductor can breathe a sigh of relief as his great love Lieschen succeeds in alarming the jealous husbands of the women in love. In the end, Lieschen and the conductor marry.

The mixed women's choir was filmed in the Ufa-Union-Ateliers Tempelhof near Berlin . Kurt Richter created the buildings. The film premiered on July 14, 1916 in the Kammerspiele Potsdamer Platz and in the UT Alexanderplatz in Berlin .
