Ossi's Diary is a German silent film comedy from 1917 by Ernst Lubitsch with Ossi Oswalda in the leading role.

action

Ossi is a cocky freak who often does it too well. The boy next door Fritz is always a helpful accomplice to her when it comes to concocting pranks. One of their victims is the good-natured but also a little shy and clumsy-looking student teacher Dr. Theodor Lindemann, who lives in the house opposite. When Ossi hatched another joke, her parents had enough: They decided to send the tomboy to the old maid Anna Striebe's boarding school for girls .

Now it just happened that the teacher Lindemann found a job in this boarding school. For the young boarding school residents, the smart new teacher is of course an ideal victim for high-spirited pranks. Lindemann grabs his heart and is now stricter so that nobody can dance on his nose anymore. He even gives Ossi detention once . By chance, Ossi's diary falls into his hands; in it he reads that the little cheeky badger has secretly fallen in love with him. Eventually the two become a couple and become engaged.
