production
Kurt Richter created the buildings for the film. The shooting took place in the Ufa-Union-Ateliers Berlin-Tempelhof. Prince Sami , who was originally 1041 meters long, was censored in December 1917. The premiere of the film took place on January 1, 1918 in the UT Kurfürstendamm in Berlin .
In Prinz Sami , after works such as Schuhpalast Pinkus and Der Stolz der Firma , Lubitsch once again presented the "unadjusted [en ...], powerful sex offender".
