The Rodelkavalier is a German silent film by Ernst Lubitsch from 1918. It is one of the director's lost films.

Ossi is the sheltered daughter of the commercial councilor Hannemann. When she is supposed to marry a man she doesn't like, she takes refuge in the snowy village of Krummhübel. Here she meets the self-confident Sally Pinner, who, however, does not turn out to be a candidate for marriage after a short time. In the end, however, Ossi finds the perfect lover in a third man - to the chagrin of her father.

The Rodelkavalier was created in 1918 in the Ufa Union studios, Tempelhof near Berlin . Kurt Richter created the buildings . The premiere took place on March 1, 1918 in the UT Kurfürstendamm and UT Nollendorfplatz in Berlin .
