The Vilnius Design College (lit. Vilniaus dizaino kolegija ) is a private university for design in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . It is located in the Naujamiestis district .

history

In 1997, the Giedrės Fledžinskienė Higher School of Arts ( Giedrės Fledžinskienės aukštesnioji menų mokykla ) was built by the painter Giedrė Fledžinskienė . The clothing designers and theater makeup artists were prepared (52 students). From 1998 to 1999, goods and retail design emerged as a new course of study, from 1999 to 2000 with the specialization “Interior decor and advertising”. In 2005 the school became a college , Vilniaus dizaino kolegija . From 2005 the university diplomas will be issued. From 2009 the degree of professional bachelor will be awarded.

In 2003/2004 there were 31 university professors. In 2014 103 employees were employed.
