German Genealogy Day

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Deutscher Genealogentag is the name of an annual gathering of German family researchers , which is organized by the German Association of Genealogical Associations . It has been organized by a different member association of the umbrella organization on an annual basis since 1925 and is mainly held in Germany , less often in Austria and Switzerland . There was no genealogy day between 1939 and 1949.

The 72nd German Genealogy Day was to take place from August 28th to 30th, 2020 in Tapfheim . The event was canceled due to the corona pandemic and should be rescheduled in 2022.

The Family History Association for the Klever Land MOSAIK from Kleve has submitted an application for the genealogy day in 2021 . The event could take place from September 10-12, 2021.
