The German Science Publishing (DWV) is a German academic publisher based in Baden-Baden / Kappelrodeck . It was founded in 1998 by Werner E. Gerabek in Würzburg . The Deutsche Wissenschafts-Verlag primarily publishes scientific literature and non-fiction books ; the program includes the complete edition of Max Liebermann's letters .

Deutsche Wissenschafts-Verlag is a member of the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels , based in Frankfurt am Main, and the Baden-Württemberg State Association of the Börsenverein, based in Stuttgart . In addition to printed books, the program also includes e-books , magazines and DVDs . Deutsche Wissenschafts-Verlag divides its program into the areas of Classical Studies , Biosciences and Anthropology , History and Social History , Art and Music , Literature , Linguistics and Communication Studies , Mathematics , Medicine , Natural Sciences , Education , Philosophy , Theology and Religious Studies as well as Economy and Society .
