Reviews

Prisma-Online describes the film as "a provocative as well as drastic war drama with an all-star cast that intensely deals with the subjects of exploitation and humiliation."

“Staged based on motifs from the famous scandalous novel by Curzio Malaparte, the episodic narrative film quickly slips into speculative voyerism and gimmicky shock effects. Mechanisms and motives are only made conscious in this way. "
