Dieter Knust

Dieter Knust (born July 12, 1940 in Berlin ) is a German actor , television director , screenwriter and voice actor .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1958, Dieter Knust initially trained as a musician and then began studying civil engineering. He studied at what is now the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin until 1964 , after having worked as an apprentice at the Berliner Ensemble from 1956 to 1962 . Then Knust took up further studies in directing at the Babelsberg Film University , which he graduated with a diploma in 1974.

Further details of Knust's stage career could not be determined. For a while he played the debt servant at the Jedermann Festival in the Berlin Cathedral . In addition to his extensive work as a film and television actor, he was also responsible for a number of productions as a screenwriter and director in the 1970s and 1980s. Knust also works as a voice actor and has lent his voice to foreign colleagues in series such as Thousand Miles of Dust , Twilight Zone and the anime series City Hunter .

Dieter Knust lives in Berlin.
