The Lonya Chico district is located in the Luya province of the Amazonas region in northern Peru . The district has an area of ​​83.82 km². The district was officially established on February 5, 1861 and had a population of 842 at the 2017 census. The district administration is located in Lonya Chico. The village festival is celebrated on the day of St. Lucia, August 15th.
