The sinkhole in the Aichen garment is a landscape protection area in the area of the city of Oberndorf am Neckar, which was designated by ordinance on February 1, 1953 by the Rottweil District Office . With only 1630 m² it is the smallest landscape protection area in Baden-Württemberg.

The sinkhole in Gewand Aichen is located about 1 km east of the Beffendorf district on parcel No. 278. It is located in the Obere Gäue natural area .
Landscape character
It is a sinkhole in the shell limestone with a diameter of about 40 meters and a depth of about 8 meters. It is overgrown with a closed field, mainly made of ash. The sinkhole is surrounded by economic grassland, and there are 13 other sinkholes in the wider area.
