The Zitzmannsbrunnenbachtal is a landscape protection area in the area of the city of Dornhan that was designated by ordinance on December 6, 1967 by the Horb District Office .
location
The nature reserve Zitzmannsbrunnenbachtal extends along the state road 410 in a northeast direction from Dornhan to the Bettenhausen district boundary. The Zitzmannsbrunnenbach flows through it. The reserve is located in the Obere Gäue natural area .
Landscape character
The Zitzmannbrunnenbach is lined with meadows in the upper and lower part of the landscape protection area. About a third of the stretch of the river in the central part of the landscape protection area is in the closed forest. Most of the valley slopes are forested.
Contiguous protected areas
The landscape protection area Glatt-Tal connects to the district of Bettenhausen . At Dornhan, the area overlaps on a small scale with the FFH area Wiesen and Heiden an Glatt and Mühlbach . The area lies entirely in the Black Forest Middle / North Nature Park .
