The Jungbrunnental is a landscape protection area in the area of ​​the city of Rottweil that was designated by ordinance on October 10, 1990 by the Rottweil District Office .

The Jungbrunnental conservation area is located north of the Rottweiler districts of Göllsdorf and Feckenhausen in the valley of the Jungbrunnenbach .

Landscape character

The Jungbrunnental is a meadow valley that opens to the west. In the north of the area there is a forest. A fruit tree avenue (Jungbrunnenstrasse) leads from Göllsdorf through the area. The landscape is structured by some field hedges and field trees. In the south, on the outskirts of Göllsdorf, is the remainder of a former juniper heather.

Contiguous protected areas

The Linsenbergweiher nature reserve borders the area in the west . The Wacholderheide Dissenhorn nature reserve borders in the south . The southern part of the area belongs to the FFH area Prim-Albvorland .
