location

The conservation area is located east of the hamlet Dieitinger Red rooms to the county border at Rosenfeld in the Valley of Schlichem . The reserve belongs to the Eastern Alb Foreland natural area .

Landscape character

The Schlichen meanders east of Rotenzimmern through a meadow valley, which is framed by spruce forests on both valley flanks. The stream is accompanied by a narrow gallery forest.

Contiguous protected areas

The landscape protection area partially overlaps with the FFH area Neckartal between Rottweil and Sulz .
