The Teufenbach-Fischbach-Tal area is a landscape protection area designated by ordinance on March 1, 1990 by the Rottweil District Office in the area of the municipality of Zimmer ob Rottweil .
location
The Teufenbach-Fischbach-Tal landscape protection area extends over the Horgen district from the district boundary at Niedereschach to the Horgen outskirts. It includes the valleys of the Fischbach and the Teufenbach up to the district boundary.
Landscape character
The slopes of the Teufenbachtal are mostly forested with spruce trees that were reforested on former sheep pastures. There are some meadows along the stream. The Fischbachtal, on the other hand, is largely open within the protected area. The valley floor is shaped by meadows, the slopes by field hedges and former sheep pastures. There is also a water treading facility and the Horgen Marian Grotto in the protected area .
Contiguous protected areas
The landscape protection area partially overlaps with the FFH area Baar, Eschach and the south-eastern Black Forest and the Baar bird protection area .
The Teufenbachtal landscape protection area is immediately adjacent to the Fischbacher district .
