The FC Dordrecht is a Dutch football club from Dordrecht .
history
The club was founded on August 16, 1883 as DFC (Dordtsche Football Club) . In 1914 and 1932 the club won the KNVB Cup . In 1972 a professional department split off under the name FC Dordrecht. Between 1979 and 2002 the club experienced numerous name changes. He mostly played in the Eerste Divisie , but also rose to the Eredivisie several times , most recently in 2014 after 19 years. It was followed by direct relegation as bottom of the table.
