Dorenda Moore (* before 1996) is a stunt coordinator, stunt woman and actress .

Life

Dorenda Moore doubled Marina Sirtis in Peace Virus - The Threat (2002) and Natalie Portman in Thor (2011). She did many stunts in films and television series such as Alien - The Rebirth (1997), Planet of the Apes (2001), Mr. Deeds (2002) for which she received a Taurus Award nomination for best stunt woman in 2003 , Hot Chick - Crazy Chickens (2002) for which she also got a second Taurus Award nomination for Best Stunt Woman in 2003, Star Trek (2009) and The Green Hornet (2011) as well as in the series Unfabulous (2004-2007). As a stunt coordinator, she worked in the films Serial Killing 4 Dummys (2004) and Plane dead (2007) as well as in 40 episodes of the television series Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight (2008-2010). For her work in Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight , she won a Daytime Emmy Award in the category Outstanding Stunt Coordination in 2010 as the first ever female stunt coordinator .

She made appearances as an actress in the films Time Tracers (1997), Der Todfeind (1999) and Convent (2000). TV series she starred in are Charmed - The Magic Witches (2001), Star Trek: Enterprise (2003-2005) and Crossing Jordan - Pathologist with Profile (2005).

Moore is Governor of the Academy of Arts and Sciences (The Emmy's) Stunt Peer Group . She is also a board member of the Stuntwomen's Association of Motion Pictures . In 2009 she was named Stunt Woman of the Year at the Diamond in the RAW-Action Icon Awards .
