Douzy is a village and a former French commune with 1,894 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Ardennes in the Région Grand Est . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Sedan and the Canton of Carignan . The inhabitants call themselves Douzynois .

With effect from January 1, 2015, the formerly independent communities of Douzy and Mairy were merged into a commune nouvelle of the same name called Douzy . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Douzy.

Douzy is located on the right bank of the Chiers River , which flows into the Meuse a few kilometers further .
