The Dubai World Championship is one of the most highly endowed professional golf tournaments in the world and is part of the PGA European Tour . It is the climax and conclusion of the Race to Dubai , which has replaced the European Tour Order of Merit money list since the 2009 season .

The first 60 of the respective season classification of the Race to Dubai are entitled to start. If there are any cancellations by qualified players, there will be substitutes. There is no cut after two rounds.
