Mike van Duinen (born November 6, 1991 in The Hague , South Holland ) is a Dutch football player . He is under contract with PEC Zwolle .

Career

Van Duinen played as a child and adolescent for The Haghe and Oliveo in Pijnacker . In 2009 he switched to the youth team at ADO Den Haag. For ADO he first played in the U-19 and in the 2010/11 season in the second team Jong ADO and in the U-20. After regular Lex Immers was banned for five encounters in March 2011 because of anti-Semitic chants, van Duinen rose to the Eredivisie squad. However, he made his debut in the playoffs when he came on in the game at Roda Kerkrade on May 22, 2011 in the 83rd minute for Vicento . He also made a short appearance in the second playoff round: in the 5-1 win against FC Groningen , coach John van den Brom granted three-time goalscorers Jens Toornstra extra applause in stoppage time and sent van Duinen onto the field for him.

Van Duinen made his league debut on the second match day of the 2011/12 season, on August 14, 2011, again against Groningen. In the 2: 4 defeat he played for the entire time and scored his first league goal.

On July 3, 2015, he signed a four-year contract with Fortuna Düsseldorf. Van Duinen made his competitive debut for Fortuna and in the 2nd Bundesliga when he was substituted on on the first day of the game. Van Duinen's only competitive goal for the first team from Fortuna came on matchday 7 at the away game of the Düsseldorf team in Bochum.

At the end of January 2016, he moved to the Dutch club Roda Kerkrade on loan until the end of the 2015/16 season .

On August 31, 2016, he terminated his contract in Düsseldorf and signed a three-year contract with Excelsior Rotterdam.
