The oldest - dated - city map of the city of Einbeck (1728) comes from the pen of Ernest Eberhard Braun .
From 1746, at the instigation of Hanover's mayor Christian Ulrich Grupen , EE Braun created plans for the first Hanoverian city expansion by the fortress builder Georg Friedrich Dinglinger on the former Suder-Bothfelder- Bastion , which were then carried out in the area of the Aegidienneu town from 1748 . In turn, a card signed EE Braun dated 1750 from the area around the city of Hanover .
