In 1933, the workers' sports clubs were banned and in August 1934 it was forced to merge with SC Kirchmöser, so that from then on the club appeared under the name RSV Adler Kirchmöser. In 1945 the club was dissolved and, after a new start, it was re-established in 1949 as the Reichsbahnsportgemeinschaft Kirchmöser. With the formation of the Lokomotive sports association in 1950, the name changed to BSG Lokomotive Kirchmöser. Carrier operating the Sports Association (BSG) was the German Reichsbahn , especially the Reichsbahn repair shop Brandenburg-West, later working for Gleisbaumechanik Brandenburg-Kirchmöser. In 1990 the club was re-established as the Kirchmöser Railway Sports Club.

The footballers initially played as ESV Kirchmöser, from August 1934 merged with SC Kirchmöser under the name RSV Adler Kirchmöser. Shortly after the start of the Second World War in 1939, organized gaming operations were effectively ceased. The club did not play in the higher class until 1945, and any participation in the Gauliga Berlin-Brandenburg did not take place.

On the sporting level, Kirchmöser acted as BSG in the third and fourth class district league Potsdam , which was held with secured midfield positions. 1958 reached Lok Kirchmöser behind the BSG Stahl Brandenburg and the second representation of the BSG Rotation Babelsberg a third place for promotion to the 2nd GDR League , which had been increased from two to five seasons beforehand. The Kirchmöseraner held the third highest division in the GDR until it was dissolved in the 1962/63 season, and there was never a realistic chance of promotion to the GDR league . The locomotive was then downgraded to the Potsdam district league area, which was held with brief interruptions until 1980. In the following years, Lok Kirchmöser sank again into insignificance.

Since 1990 the club has started as the Kirchmöser Railway Sports Club. Division 2014 was the 1st district class A in the Havelland football district.

Canoeing began in the 1920s as part of the Arbeiter-Turn- und Sportbund . Until 1928, a boathouse was built in the Kirchmöser-Dorf part of the city, with a constant shortage of money. The association called itself Freie Wasserfahrer Kirchmöser, division canoeing, and in a short time had over 100 members who, in addition to canoe racing, also dealt with water hiking and camping . In 1933, the attempt by the Nazis to destroy the boathouse was repulsed by the athletes. The club was banned and a new water sports club Kirchmöser eV was formed. The boats could remain in the expropriated boathouse, which was now owned by the Kirchmöser community, for a monthly lease of RM 100 . From 1945 to 1949 the Soviet Army used the boathouse as a storage room. Although not allowed by the Soviet Army in Kirchmöser, many old and young athletes tried a new start. In 1949 the Kirchmöser free water drivers joined the Reichsbahnsportgemeinschaft Kirchmöser, from 1950 BSG Lokomotive Kirchmöser.

As a result, canoe racing developed in Kirchmöser and the BSG became a top sports club . From 1955 to 1960, many canoeists in the GDR national squads achieved national and international successes. After 1960, a training center was established for young canoeists who were prepared on site for the children's and youth sports school (KJS) in Brandenburg, and from 1976 in Potsdam. A total of 24 young racing canoeists from Kirchmöser came to the KJS by 1990 and some also joined the national team. In the ESV Kirchmöser, after the fall of the Wall in 1990, a Brandenburg state base for canoe racing was set up, where around 15 children and young people are trained. Between 1990 and 2008 9 athletes could be delegated to the sports school in Potsdam "Friedrich Ludwig Jahn" ( elite school of sports ).
