The EWHL Super Cup 2011/12 was the first edition of the EWHL Super Cup , which is organized by the Elite Women's Hockey League (EWHL). The Super Cup was launched by the EWHL in 2011 to enable a better comparison between the top teams in their own and other European leagues.

mode
The teams play against each other in a single round. A game lasts 3 × 20:00 minutes. There are three points for a win; For a victory after overtime ( Sudden Victory Overtime ) or penalty shootout , the winner receives two points, the loser one.
Attendees
The first and second place finishers from last year's EWHL season , the two first place finishers in the German Bundesliga and the Swiss performance class A are qualified to participate in the Cup. HC Lugano, as the runner-up in performance class A, did not participate.
