Edt is a place in the Hausruckviertel hill country in Upper Austria and a village in the municipality of Pollham in the Grieskirchen district .

geography

The place is located about 3½ kilometers northeast of Grieskirchen on the Riedl, which stripes eastwards between Polsenz and Trattnach north of Bad Schallerbach . The village has 7 buildings with around 30 residents. Five of the farms are located on a medium-high hill, from which you can enjoy an excellent view of the distant mountains of the Salzkammergut when the weather is good .

In terms of landscape, the area is part of the Inn- and Hausruckviertel hill country .

The place can be found on older maps and in historical literature as Oed or Ed , around 1820 belonged to the parish district of Polham in the district commissioner of Parz .
