The honorary doctorate 2019/20 was the 106th season in the second highest Luxembourg division in men's football. It began on August 18, 2019 and ended unplanned on April 22, 2020 due to an early termination as a result of the corona pandemic.

On March 12, 2020, the Luxembourg Football Association interrupted the current season due to the corona virus and suspended the game until further notice.

The final end of the season was announced by the association on April 22nd, 2020 and it was decided that Swift Hesperingen and FC Wiltz 71 would be promoted directly to the BGL Ligue and that there would be no relegated members in return. From the third-class 1st division, Marisca Mersch (1st district) and Sporting Bettemburg (2nd district) will be promoted to the honorary doctorate. On May 20, 2020, the merger of FC RM Hamm Benfica with first division club FC Blue Boys Muhlenbach opened up another place in the league, which FC Schifflingen 95 will take as the best runner-up of the two
1st divisions.
