The Suco is to the north of the Letefoho administrative office. To the south are the sucos Goulolo and Ducurai . In the northwest, Eraulo borders on the administrative office Ermera with its Sucos Estado , Humboe and Lauala and in the northeast to the administrative office Aileu, which belongs to the municipality of Aileu, with its sucos Hoholau and Liurai . In the north, on the border, lies the relatively large lake Lehumo and nearby Foho Olopana , the highest mountain in the Aileu range at 1791  m . The river Gleno , a tributary of the Lóis , rises near the village of Olopana in the south and follows the eastern border of Eraulos to the north. A little further south is the village of Saharaitaurema . In the center of Sucos is the place Lequi Sala ( Lequisala , Likisala ) and further north on the Gleno the villages Manama and Madede . Along the border with Estado, the country road leads from the town of Gleno to the town of Letefoho . The villages Darudu ( Darudo ), Kaibui and Raicala are located on it . There are primary schools in Darudu, Olopana and Lequi Sala.

Before the 2015 regional reform, Eraulo had an area of ​​15.69 km². Then areas of Goulolo and along the border with Ducurai to Eraulo were struck. Now it is 30.55 km².

In the Suco there are the six Aldeias Darudu , Goulala , Lequi Sala , Madede , Olopana and Taurema .

Residents

2098 inhabitants live in the Suco (2015), of which 1066 are men and 1032 women. The population density is 68.7 inhabitants / km². There are 363 households in the Suco. More than 77% of the residents state Mambai as their mother tongue. Almost 21% speak Tetum Prasa and a small minority speak Bunak .

In the 2004/2005 elections , Abel Afonso was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections won Laurindo Soares .
