Erhan Namlı (born May 7, 1974 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Namlı started club football in the youth of Ankara Demirspor . In the 1990/91 season, in addition to his work in the youth team, he was also involved in the training of the professional team. On the last day of the season he was started in the home game against Kastamonuspor and made his professional debut. After he came to no further use for the professionals in the following season, he captured a regular place in the first weeks of the 1992/93 season. By the end of this season he had established himself as a top performer and therefore received a professional contract. Namlı played the next two seasons for his club and became one of the league's shooting stars.

In the summer of 1995, several first division clubs tried to get Namlıs. Finally he moved to the Eastern Turkish first division club Vanspor . Despite the new environment, Namlı quickly established himself within the team and played in 26 of the possible 24 league games. After just one season he left Vanspor and moved to Denizlispor within the league . With this club he was relegated at the end of the season, but did not leave him. In the second division failed the direct rise again, so that Namlı left Denizlispor in the summer of 1998 and hired the first division club Gaziantepspor .

At his new club he immediately enjoyed the trust of the new head coach Hüseyin Kalpar and played in almost all league games. His team finished the season in 7th place in the table. In Namlıs 2nd season at Gaziantepspor Kalpar left the club after two matchdays and was replaced by Sakıp Özberk . Under this new coach Namlı kept his regular place and completed 30 league games by the end of the season. His team finished the season third, achieved the best placement in the club's history and qualified for the UEFA Cup. Namlı, tried as one of the cornerstones of this success to sign several larger clubs. Finally, in the summer of 2000, he switched to the traditional Turkish club Trabzonspor . At this club he played in his first season in succession under the coaches Giray Bulak and Sadi Tekelioğlu and completed almost all of his team's league games. In the new season Trabzonspor hired Hans-Peter Briegel as a new coach. After Namlı played the first days of the new season for Trabzonspor, he moved to Galatasaray Istanbul before the end of the 2001 summer transfer period . At this club he was only used sporadically by head coach Mircea Lucescu until the winter break , which is why the club loaned him to the league rivals Çaykur Rizespor for the second half of the season.

With the end of the season 2001/02 he returned to Galatasaray and was then given to the league rivals Elazığspor . After just one season, Namlı moved again, this time returning to his old Gaziantepspor . This time he worked at Gaziantepspor with the head coach Nurullah Sağlam , who worked as an assistant coach in Namlı's first time at the club. He quickly established himself as a top performer at this club and played a significant role in the fact that his club ended the 2003/04 season in 4th place. In the second season you finished the league in a middle place in the table. After Sağlam left the club in the summer of 2005, Namlı also changed the club and hired Karşıyaka SK . After half a year at Karşıyaka Namlı changed clubs again and went to third division Eskişehirspor . With this club he ended the third division season 2005/06 as a playoff winner and rose to the TFF 1st Lig .

After the rise he left Eskişehirspor and moved to another third division team with Boluspor . With this club he then managed the championship of the TFF 2nd Lig and rose to the TFF 1st Lig for the second time in a row. Despite this success, he left his employer again after a season. The following seasons he played for various clubs in the TFF 2nd Lig.

In the summer of 2013 he accepted the offer from the amateur club Bayburt Grup İl Özel İdare SK and has continued his career as an amateur player ever since.
