Erlau (Freising)

Erlau is a district of the district town of Freising . The village is located on the southern edge of the Ampertal , about five kilometers north of Freising. Surrounding places are Tüntenhausen , Zurnhausen , Zolling and Itzling . Erlau is 441 m above sea level. NN and had 57 inhabitants in 2012. The federal highway 301 leads through the village . In future, the northeast bypass of the city of Freising will branch off south of the town. Construction work has been going on since 2017.

Erlau was part of the municipality of Tüntenhausen until 1972 and was then incorporated into Freising as part of the municipal reform.
