Lageltshausen is a district of the large district town of Freising in Upper Bavaria .

Lageltshausen is located six kilometers west of the city center of Freising on a hill on the edge of the Freising Moos . The Moosach flows east one kilometer away, while the Isar also flows east six kilometers away. The A 92 runs to the east at a distance of six kilometers and the A 9 to the west at the same distance.

Until June 30, 1972, the place belonged to the municipality of Sünzhausen, which was incorporated into Freising as part of the municipal area reform .
