history

The place was mentioned in a document in 1062 in a letter in which Bishop Wofram exchanged a fief with the noble Waltrich. In 1847, Kleinbachern is described as a hamlet belonging to the village and the parish of Vötting . With the incorporation of Vötting to Freising in 1937, the former Vötting districts Gartelshausen, Hohenbachern and Kleinbachern came to Sünzhausen . As part of the municipal reform, Kleinbachern was incorporated into the city of Freising on July 1, 1972 as part of the municipality of Sünzhausen.
