history

The most important landowners were the Bishop of Freising , the Freising Cathedral Chapter and the Neustift Monastery . Other landlords were the collegiate monastery St. Johannes and for a short time St. Andrä . Tuching was on the territory of the Hochstift Freising , so the sovereignty of the state was held by the Freising Prince-Bishop. From 1818 to 1904 the place was part of the community Neustift . On January 1, 1905, Tuching and Neustift came to the city of Freising. On July 1, 2008, Tuching had 632 inhabitants.
