The Estadio Marcelo Bielsa is a football stadium in the Argentine city ​​of Rosario . It was built in 1911 and after several renovations and extensions it now offers 42,000 seats. The football club CA Newell's Old Boys plays its home games at the Estadio El Coloso del Parque .

In 2001 the stadium hosted several games of the Junior World Cup hosted by Argentina. Until 2009 it was called Estadio El Coloso del Parque ( German  'Colossus of the Park' ), meaning the Parque de la Independencia , the facility is often called Estadio Newell's Old Boys ( German  'Newell's-Old- Boys Stadium ' ). The current name honors the coach Marcelo Bielsa , who won two national championship titles with Newell's Old Boys.
