The Estadio Florencio Sola is a football stadium in the city of Banfield ( Province of Buenos Aires ) in Argentina . The municipal stadium is the home of the CA Banfield football club . It was named in honor of the club's president Don Florencio "Lencho" Sola . The stadium has a capacity of 34,901 seats.
The sports facility was opened on October 6, 1940 with the friendly game between the home team CA Banfield and CA Independiente . Guests won the game with 1: 0, the only goal scored Paraguayan Arsenio Erico .
In 2006 the stadium was partially renovated. The sports facility has four team rooms, two gyms, 32 booths for journalism and several administrative offices.
