Eva Nordmark
Eva Nordmark (* 1971 in Luleå ) is a Swedish trade unionist and politician from Socialdemokraterna . She has been the labor minister in her country since 2019.
Life
Nordmark studied political science at Luleå Technical University from 1992 to 1994 . From 1995 to 1998 she was a member of the Swedish parliament, the Reichstag . From 2011 to 2019 she was chairwoman of the Swedish trade union confederation for white-collar workers, Tjänstemännens Centralorganisation (TCO). From 2001 to 2004 she was the head of the association in the Norrbotten region.
On September 10, 2019, she was appointed labor market minister in the Löfven II government. She is responsible for the labor market , labor law and the working environment as well as the integration of immigrants.
Private
Nordmark is married and has two children.
