After 14th and 8th place in the World Cup at the beginning of the 2012/13 season, Samková won her first World Cup victory in Blue Mountain, Canada . This was followed by three top ten placements, including third place in Veysonnaz . At the season highlight of the 2013 Snowboard World Championships in Stoneham , she came seventh. In February 2013 she became the Czech snowboard cross champion. The following month she won the gold medal at the 2013 Junior Snowboarding World Championships in Erzurum . She finished the season in fourth place in the Snowboard Cross World Cup. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season, she won her second World Cup victory in Montafon and won the gold medal at the 2013 Winter Universiade . In January 2014 she won the World Cup in Vallnord-Arcalís and won the silver medal at the Winter X Games 2014 in Aspen . The following month, she won the snowboard cross final at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games ahead of Dominique Maltais (Canada) and Chloé Trespeuch (France) . At the end of the season she was fifth in the Snowboard Cross World Cup.
The following year Samková finished sixth at the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg . In March 2015 she became the Czech champion. After finishing 13th at the World Cup in Montafon at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, she made it into the top ten seven times. She won third place twice and second place once. She also won in Feldberg and Sunny Valley and at the end of the season she finished second in the Snowboard Cross World Cup. She won the silver medal at the Winter X Games 2016 in Aspen . In the following season, she won two World Cups and also took second place three times. She won the snowboard cross world cup with it. At the season highlight of the 2017 Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada , she finished 12th.
In the 2017/18 season , Samková took three victories and finished second once, reaching fifth place in the Snowboard Cross World Cup. She had to win her World Cup victory on March 10, 2018 in Moscow "twice". At first, not all gates had opened at the start, so there was a restart. Samková won the run, after which there was a protest by other team leaders, which is why the run was canceled and rerun, but the Czech prevailed again. She won the bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang .
In the 2018/19 season she won three world cup races and took her first world title at the World Championships in Park City . She also took second and third place in the World Cup, winning the Snowboard Cross World Cup. The following season she was fourth in the Snowboard Cross World Cup. She won her 14th World Cup victory in Montafon .
