Career

society

The 1.98 meter tall and 111 kilogram heavy right-handed cyclist was under contract with TSG Friesenheim from September 2008 . Before that he played for TV Hemsbach, SG Leutershausen , SC Magdeburg and ThSV Eisenach . He had a second game right for TV Hochdorf in the regional league. From 2011 to 2013 he played for Füchse Berlin . He then switched to Frisch Auf Göppingen .

In the Bundesliga season 2014/15 , Pevnov received little play in Göppingen due to the overstaffing in the circle position. On February 2, 2015, Füchse Berlin announced that Pevnov would receive a contract until the end of the season. In 2015 he won the EHF European Cup with the Foxes . For the 2015/16 season he moved to VfL Gummersbach .

For the 2017/18 season, Pevnov joined the Bundesliga club TSV Hannover-Burgdorf after not renewing his contract with VfL Gummersbach.

National team

Evgeni Pevnov was in the preliminary roster of the Russian national team for the 2010 European Handball Championship . He played 23 times for the Russian junior national team.

On January 12, 2012, Evgeni Pevnov, who grew up in Germany , received German citizenship and gave up Russian citizenship in return. On September 22, 2012 he made his debut for the German national team against Serbia . He has played 18 games so far in which he scored 11 goals.
