Fahilebo is an East Timorese suco in the administrative office of Bazartete ( Liquiçá municipality ).

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Fahilebo had an area of ​​24.25 km². Now it is 20.00 km². The Suco is located in the south of the administrative office. To the west is the Suco Leorema , northwest of the Suco Fatumasi , north of the Suco Motaulun and east of the Suco Ulmera . In the south, Fahilebo borders the administrative office Railaco, which belongs to the municipality of Ermera, with its Suco Liho . The southern border is formed by the Ermela River , which changes its name to Anggou on the border with Ermera and is a source river of the Comoro . The Failebo rises in the border area to Fatumasi and flows north along the border.

To the west are the villages of Tuhilo Craic ( Tuhilu Craic , "Lower Tuhilu" ), Tuhilo Leten ( Tuhilu Leten , "Upper Tuhilu" ) and Fatuneso . There is a medical station, a makeshift helipad and the Escola Primaria Ermeta elementary school . There are no major roads connecting the Suco with the outside world, which is why the ballot boxes for the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007 had to be brought to the polling station in the primary school by horses and porters and then picked up again.

In the Suco are the three Aldeias Fatuneso , Tuhilo Craic and Tuhilo Leten .

Residents

1190 inhabitants live in the Suco (2015), 625 of them are men and 565 are women. The population density is 59.5 inhabitants / km². There are 200 households in the Suco. Over 87% of the residents state Mambai as their mother tongue. Over 9% speak Tetum Prasa , minorities Tetum Terik , Idalaka , Isní , Sa'ane and Tokodede .

In the elections of 2004/2005 was Felismino Babo dos Santos elected Chefe de Suco and in 2009 re-elected.
