In the Narcotics Division of Los Angeles working undercover -Polizistin Rita Rizzoli searches for the drug Fatal Beauty , as more and more people, they take to die. A dependent packer had dosed them too high. Just as the bug was discovered, the small production facility was mugged by criminals Leo Nova and Earl Skinner, who killed everyone and stole the drug.
One lead leads to businessman Kroll, whom Rizzoli tells about her suspicions. Kroll hires his security guard, Mike Marshak, to watch Rizzoli. He saves her when she comes under fire from watchdogs and the two robbers at Rafael, a drug dealer. After several more dead consumers, there is a showdown in a shopping center, in which Marshak Rizzoli again saves the life that was threatened by Skinner. Nova wounds Marshak badly, but is caught by Rizzoli and dies like his partner before. The affair between Rizzoli and Marshak continues.
Reviews
- Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun-Times that the portrayal of Goldberg in film was one of her best works. The film is not great, but it has good qualities.
- Rita Kempley wrote in the Washington Post that the plot was implausible. The direction is bland, the elements of the script are borrowed. The film is stupid and boring.
