The Faze Magazine (proper spelling: FAZE magazine , shortly FAZEmag ) deals with electronic dance music and is published monthly. It was created in spring 2012 and was founded by the former Raveline editorial team . The AEC Geronimo Verlag, which had published the Raveline since 1996, had to file for bankruptcy in November 2011. The editorial team of the Raveline tried unsuccessfully together with columnist Tom Novy to obtain the Raveline naming rights from the insolvency administrator Dr. To acquire Ringstmeier. When this did not succeed because the partner of the old managing director, Cornelia Schlifkowitz, secured the naming rights, the editorial team decided to found a new magazine.
The first issue of Faze magazine appeared in March 2012 as a print edition and at the same time as an iPad app, which is available in the Apple news stand. Ricardo Villalobos presented the first cover . Paul van Dyk appeared on the April cover . The May cover story dealt with popular streaming services such as radio or Spotify . In addition to the online presence and the print and iPad edition, the Internet TV format FAZE TV has been available since April 2012 , moderated by Tom Novy and Sven Schäfer and updated daily.
The contents of the magazine include regular columns by Tom Novy , Marc DePulse, Falko Niestolik and Damian Duda, among others . In addition, Faze Magazin offers interviews, new technology presentations & tests, charts, fashion & gadgets, sound carrier reviews and comics by Bringmann & Kopetzki .
