Felice Pirozzi

Felice Pirozzi (born October 19, 1908 in Pomigliano d'Arco , Province of Naples , Italy , † July 25, 1975 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Vatican diplomat .

Life

Felice Pirozzi received on 19 July 1931, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On September 23, 1960 Pope John XXIII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Gratiana and ordered him to apostolic delegate in Madagascar . The Bishop of Bukoba , Laurean Cardinal Rugambwa , ordained him episcopal on December 31 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic von Wau , Ireneus Wien Dud , and the Bishop of Dedza , Cornelius Chitsulo .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on January 9, 1967 as Apostolic Nuncio in Venezuela . On October 17, 1970, Felice Pirozzi became President of the Pontifical Diplomatic Academy in Rome .

Felice Pirozzi attended the first, second and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
