Felix Müri (born January 22, 1958 in Lucerne ; resident in Schinznach ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ). Between 2003 and 2019 he was a member of the National Council .

Life and political career

Müri was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Lucerne from 1999 to 2003 . From 2000 to 2001 he presided over the SVP Emmen, from 2001 to 2004 the SVP of the Canton of Lucerne. In 2003 he was elected to the National Council, where he was a member of the Commission for Science, Education and Culture (WBK-NR), the Pardon Commission (BeK-V), the Commission for Pardons and Conflicts of Competence V (BeK-V), the Pardon Commission V ( BeK-V), the delegation to the Council of Europe (ERD-V) and the Rehabilitation Commission V (RehaKo-V). In October 2019 he lost his seat on the National Council.

Political profile

Müri is a conservative , cautiously economically liberal politician. He advocates an absolutely restrictive migration policy and advocates Law and Order . He is critical to very critical of demands for more environmental protection or a further opening up of Switzerland's foreign policy.

Private

Müri is married, has four grown children and lives in Emmenbrücke .
