Peter Schilliger

Peter Schilliger (born June 1, 1959 in Udligenswil ; resident in Udligenswil and Weggis ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

Life

Schilliger is a trained plumbing draftsman (1978), TS plumbing technician since 1983 and TS heating technician since 1986. From 2005 to 2007 he completed a postgraduate degree in public management at the HSW Luzern . From 1986 to 2002 he was managing director of Julius Weinberger AG, sanitary heating . Since 2003 he has been co-owner of IC AG Haustechnik-Beratung and since 2009 co-owner and managing director of Herzog Haustechnik AG in Lucerne.

Schilliger lives in Udligenswil. He is married and has three children.

From 1991 to 2011, Schilliger was a local councilor in Udligenswil, and from 2000 the local councilor . He was a member of the Lucerne Cantonal Council from April 2003 to September 2012 . From June 2008 to January 2016 he was President of the FDP of the Canton of Lucerne. On September 10, 2012, Schilliger replaced the late Otto Ineichen in the National Council . In 2019 he missed re-election as second on the FDP list, which lost one of its two seats.
