Leo Müller (born July 4, 1958 in Ruswil ; entitled to live there and in Schüpfheim ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

biography

Müller completed his training as a farmer and graduated as an agricultural engineer . This was followed by a law degree at the University of Bern and obtaining a lawyer and notary license for the Canton of Lucerne . In 1997, Müller opened his own lawyer and notary office in Ruswil.

From 2000 to 2008, Müller President of the CVP District Sursee , since 2008 he has been mayor of Ruswil. From 1999 to 2011 he was a member of the Cantonal Council of Lucerne, where he was a member of the Constitutional Commission and from 2007 presided over the Economy and Taxes Commission . In the parliamentary elections in 2011 , Müller was elected to the National Council. There he took a seat on the finance committee .

Leo Müller is married and has three children. He holds the degree of major in the Swiss Army .
