Wetlands in the Nothbach Valley
Coordinates: 50 ° 17 ′ 0 ″ N , 7 ° 21 ′ 1 ″ E
The wetlands in the Nothbachtal are a nature reserve in the Mayen-Koblenz district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The 27 hectare area lies on both sides of the Nothbach between the towns of Rüber , Küttig and Gappenach .
The purpose of protection is the preservation of these wetlands as a habitat for rare wild plants that are threatened in their existence and, more rarely, of threatened animal species as well as for scientific reasons.
