Hochbermel

The Hochbermel nature reserve is located in the Mayen-Koblenz district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The approximately 65.7 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 2001 , extends southeast of the local community of Bermel around the former basalt quarry at Hochbermel (570 m), which has been closed since the late 1970s. The state road L 96 runs north .
