history
Philippsberg was founded in the 18th century. In 1832 the Dominikaldorf consisted of 36 houses with 230 German-speaking residents. The residents lived from spinning, wage weaving, day labor and woodcutting. The parish and school location was Einsiedel . Until the middle of the 19th century, Philippsberg remained subject to the allodial rule of Friedland .
After the abolition of patrimonial Philippsberg formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Olbersdorf in the Bunzlauer Kreis and judicial district Friedland . From 1868 the village belonged to the Friedland district . In the years 1937 and 1938, two bunker lines of the Czechoslovak Wall were built between Einsiedel and Schwarzberg . After the Munich Agreement , it was incorporated into the German Reich in 1938; until 1945 Philippsberg belonged to the Friedland district . After the end of the Second World War, Philippsberg returned to Czechoslovakia, and in 1946 the village was named Filipov. In 1946 and 1947, most of the German-Bohemian residents were expelled. 1948 Filipov was with Albrechtice after Dětřichov incorporated. In the course of the dissolution of the Okres Frýdlant, the village was assigned to the Okres Liberec in 1960. On January 1, 1986 the incorporation into Frýdlant took place, at the same time Filipov lost the status of a district.
