Finn Wittrock (born October 28, 1984 in Lenox , Massachusetts ) is an American actor .

Career

Wittrock came into contact with acting at an early age. He grew up in Lenox near the Shakespeare & Company theater company , where his father worked as an actor and language trainer. He made his film debut in 2003 as the young Eric Whitley in the crime series " Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten ". He became known through the role of Damon Miller in the soap opera " All My Children " (2009-2011). In 2012 he appeared in writer Arthur Miller's drama " Death of a Salesman " on Broadway . In 2014, in the award-winning film The Normal Heart, he played a homosexual man who died of the consequences of AIDS , a disease that was not very common at the time .
