This list of the flags and coats of arms of the Brazilian states explains the emblems of the states (and the federal district) of Brazil in alphabetical order.
Some of the flags are - in terms of the diamond shape (e.g. Ceará, Santa Catarina) and the yellow-green color (e.g. Acre, Sergipe) - influenced by the flag of Brazil .
