Fräuleinwunder is the first and only studio album of the German pop-rock - girl group Fräuleinwunder that on 29 August 2008 in Germany , Austria and in Switzerland at Universal was published.
Chart placements
The album debuted on September 12, 2008 at number 40 in Germany and on the same day in Austria at number 33. In both countries, the long player was able to stay in the charts for three weeks. On September 26th, 2008 the CD dropped out of the official album charts.
production
Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen produced all twelve tracks on the album, with Heiko Hübschmann assisting him as co-producer. The booklet photos are from Bella Lieberberg and Stefan Ruhmke. The artwork for the record was designed by Sebastian Rohde. Front woman Chanty Wunder wrote all the lyrics. She got support from Inga Humpe , Maya Singh , her band members Kerstin Wunder, Pia Wunder and Steffy Wunder as well as André Leipold, who composed with Chanty Wunder on the piece Sternradio . Jeo Mezei mixed the songs My heart is poison for you , If I were a boy and Panzerboy . All other tracks were mixed by Michael Tibes. Other producers were responsible for creating the album. In addition to Christian Neander ( I would love to love you , every day ) Michelle Leonard , Paul Leisin, Simon Triebel , Tim Winter, Peter Horsch and Chris Buseck were also responsible for the production of the pieces.

Single releases
- "If I were a boy'"
With their debut single If I Were a Boy , which appeared on the music market on August 14, 2008, Fräulein Wunder made it to position 16 in the German charts. The song stayed there for nine weeks. In Austria the piece debuted at number 41, where it lasted five weeks. In addition to the song, the single also features the making-of video. AlexandLiane directed the video shoot.
- "My heart is poison for you"
The second single was released on November 14th, 2008 Mein Herz ist Gift für dich . It reached number 79 in the German single charts for a week . As a PC bonus, the single also includes the music video of the song and a making-of video of the shoot. The video shoot was directed by Marc Helfers for Katapult Filmproduktion GmbH.
- "Star Radio"
The third and final single Sternradio followed on February 6, 2009 . The 2-track single contains the previously unreleased song Eiskaltes Monster as B-side . Sternradio was ranked 55th in Germany, where the piece lasted four weeks. In the Swiss charts , Fräulein Wunder was unable to make it into the charts with either her album or her three singles. The director of the music video was Andreas Fenske for Deluxe Bild Produktion.
With Sternradio , Miss Wunder took part in the Federal Vision Song Contest 2009 for Hessen on February 13, 2009 . With starting number one they made it to position six in the final. They received a total of 53 points. Only from the federal states of Bremen , Hamburg and Berlin did the group not receive any points.

Artur Schulz from laut.de rates the album as kitschy and clichéd. The texts often contain “ Nena style quotes” . Chanty Wunder screeches "to punk-imitating, simple guitar chords" .
